Skerries Harps GAA & Camogie Club - All Weather Facility & Skills Wall Development
Skerries Harps GAA & Camogie Club is currently in Phase 2 of our extensive Development Plan at our Main Pitch/Clubhouse Location at Dublin Road, Skerries.
Following the successful completion of Phase 1 Projects, Club Gym & Skills wall, we are now in progress on Phase 2, development of our back pitch into a state of the art, All Weather Facility with an additional Skills Wall.
Skerries Harps was founded in 1908 , and has a rich history in the local community and in the county , supporting the growth of all 4 codes, Football/Hurling/Camogie/Ladies Football from our youngest Academy members, through Juvenile (U8-U16) and Adult (Minor-Senior). With a membership of over 1300 people, and almost 1000 of those being playing members at adult and juvenile levels, we must continue to grow and provide best in class facilities. These facilities will allow our players to improve, grow, develop and be the best they can be, with our support.
The Club Development Committee and Executive have worked extensively behind the scenes to bring the current development to fruition, for a number of years and as we are progressing through Phase 2 with speed, we need the continued support of our members, our supporters and the wider community to ensure that we can fund this phase to completion
While we have secured grant funding and sponsorship, we have a significant shortfall of 100,000 EURO that needs to be met and we are counting on you to get behind the club , a club in the community for the community, to make this happen.
This is a generational project, which will ensure our club can continue to thrive and foster the talent we see take to the pitch with pride each weekend representing the Harps.
