Skeletal, stray cat needing medical attention

Hello, my name is Abby. On June 19th I found an emaciated cat lying in an alley. I picked him up and brought him home. He could barely support the weight of his own body and had difficulty walking. I don't have the funds to pay for his medical care while I am waiting for a shelter/rescue to take him in, as they are currently all at capacity or lacking funding.

 

Despite what he has been through, he is loving and enjoys being held and petted. He is a very sweet cat.

 

His condition is severe, and because of this, I made the choice and took him to a vet. They would not do pro-bono. A copy of his bill is located at the bottom of this page. He will also need ongoing veterinary care until he is accepted into a shelter.

 

The funds raised through this gofundme will be applied directly to his bill, medications, and to ongoing medical care through VCA Bloomington. Once he is accepted into a shelter/rescue, any remaining funds will be donated to that rescue.
