After years in the business of helping large companies sell and brand their products and services, I've decided to take it to the streets--specifically Main Street and those local/small businesees that are so important to our communities.  So I'd like your help to start my new business, PowerPlay Digital. My mission is simple...help local businesses be more successful in their communities. After many conversations with independent business owners and franchisees I have found that by the end of the day the last thing they have time for is to actively promote their business. Moreover, with all the new ways to reach prospects and customers via Social Media / online marketing and more, business owners need a dedicated resource...and so PowerPlay Digital was born.

I will offer these local owners a resource which will handle their social/online marketing, bring 30 years of advertising and marketing experience to their business, stay current on trends and changes in the market, and charge a fair price that won't break their budget. So why make this kind of leap at this point in my career? It comes down to the opportunity to leverage my years of  experience to positively impact the the lives of local small business owners by helping them achieve greater balance, more peace of mind, and increase the overall success of their business. And like my clients, I am also looking for the control and opportunities that being an entreprenuer will provide for my family and me. 

And why the name PowerPlay? It was a natural choice because of my love for hockey, the 16 years as a youth hockey coach, and the memories and life lessons with my boys. But at its essence, PowerPlay is still about the advantage one team gains with an extra skater on ice. PowerPlay Digital will be that extra player for local businesses by giving them the competitive advantage they need. 

So with your support, you will be helping me to cover start up expenses like the acquisition of graphics software and website development, computer peripherals, monthly expenses like an email providers, professional memberships for networking purposes, ongoing administrative expenses, etc... Basically everything necessary to not only build a business, but successfully run it too. Thank you so much for your support.
