Don protégé
My father has been working in Washington for 5 months. He and my mother celebrated their 35th anniversary this year separately. My father was supposed to be home Saturday.
On Wednesday, my Mother's birthday, she received a phone call that my father was dead. Three days later my mother suffered a heart attack that lead to her death.
We will be holding a joint funeral for both of our parents. My father is a military veteran of 20 years, who was passionate about his service, his family, and his wife. My mother was the most amazing woman, who found her soul mate and could not live without him. These two love birds will be together forever.
However, we, as the children are left with not only funeral expenses, but our family home, which we desperately want to keep.
