Help us Build a Skatepark for the Kids in El Transito, Nicaragua!

Having already built a Miniramp last year, this year we are going all in and build a Skatepark for the Kids of El Transito, a rural Fishing Village on the coast of Nicaragua.

El transito is a small coastal village just a short bus ride from Nicaraguas Capital, Managua. The Kids there have started skateboarding on the local basketballcourt, using whatever they can find as obstacles. A proper skatepark would not only give them the opportunity to practice their sport in a safe space, but also induce a strong sense of community!

Last year we went and built a Miniramp to plant the seed. The Kids have been skating it every day since!

Next month we are gonna break ground on Phase 2 of the skatepark in El Transito.

The money will go towards building materials, skateboards for the kids and travel expenses and accommodation for the crew. All the labor and expertise is brought to the table by 20 volunteers form Wonders Around the World.
