Gerry Hurtado AKA "SkateMaster Tate" is one of the kindest people I've ever known, he has made us all smile and feel good, and now he can use our help.
Gerry was Diagnosed with Inoperable Liver Cancer, and is being cared for at home by his elderly mother in her 80's...
He is getting lots of love and visits from the many friends he has made over the years.... and many have and will continue to come help, but we as his friends want to get his mother a home health care worker who can assist her with Gerry's daily needs... It has been less than one week from his diagnosis and it is already wearing on her physically, so our main goal here is to raise enough money to get someone to be with her throughout the day to help take care of him when we cannnot be there to help. We need to get this going ASAP to get the daily help he needs as quickly.
We will also be selling and auctioning off some various items to help take care of needs for Gerry's care, comfort, and to help cover bills not covered by insurance.
We will post link to those items and their sale locations or auctions as we can put that together, but if you can, please help us help Gerry, no amount is too small, anything you can afford is appreciated and will be 100% for Gerry's benefit.
