Hi Folks, my name is Herb. I just turned 80 on Mar. 20. I have no family so I live alone. I've supported myself driving for Lyft the last six years. I'm a 5-star driver with over 22,000 rides. I put over 240,000 on my own car and wore it out so had to get rid of it. Been renting a Lyft owned car the last 2 years. In Jan, while giving a Lyft ride, a skateboard zipped into the street right under the car and damaged it. Lyft's policy is any damage means I can't  rent a Lyft owned car again. I can still drive but I have to have my own car so I can go for my goal of 30,000 rides. I'm about to be evicted from my small apartment of 43 years. I need to get on the road again as soon as possible. At my age, I don't want to be homeless or a burden to any one. I prefer to remain active and earn my own way like I've been doing. Thank you in advance for any help. I will endeavor to repay what I can when I get on my feet again. I've been without a paycheck for two and a half months.
