Steamboat Springs Sk8 Church

Do you ever wonder if you could be comfortable in church? Have you ever needed help and not felt you had a safe place to go? Or wanted a place to skate (board) that is fun and clean and free from drugs, alcohol and violence? Have you ever wondered if there’s a place to go to get help with addiction where you are loved and not judged? A place that can be all these things?

Sk8 Church Steamboat Springs is that place. What started with a desire to bring Jesus to people ended with seeing tremendous needs and meeting them. We started simply with food and relationship. Out of that grew a professional indoor skatepark, full kitchen, skate shop, music stage, offices, and a safe place for people to hang out. That safe place is now open 5 days a week!

*Monday-Friday from 2-6 is our after school program. Kids can come in and receive an after school snack, mentorship, skate lessons, tutoring, or just have a place to hang out.
*Monday evening is for Middle Schoolers to receive a hot meal, hear an encouraging message, and have a great time skateboarding.
*Thursday night is for High School and College age to eat a home cooked meal, hear a great message, enjoy a time of free skateboarding, and get to build some awesome relationships.
This is what we call Church.
*Wednesday evening is our addiction recovery meeting.
In addition we offer community service hours, GED help, volunteer programs, internships, and provide a place for people to operate in their gifts and what they love to do!

Beyond all these programs and opportunities, we are a safe place to come and have someone to love you, talk to you and walk with you no matter what you are going through. We love others because we have all experienced the love of Jesus first. It doesn’t matter your age, background, race, or gender, you are always welcome and you will always be loved.

We know that SK8 Church has even more it can do. We know that what has been started here in Steamboat Springs is just the beginning.

We believe that this vision and heart that began 12 years ago from a simple act of kindness, can grow and expand and spread to even more people, and we need your help to get there! In order to continue in our vision of seeing lives changed in Steamboat and throughout the world, we need you to partner with us financially! We believe that as we stand together, real change will come to all those we encounter! All the money raised will go as seed money to start the next adventure in loving people well and brining the life changing Gospel to them! Join us!
