Help the Santizo Family go to Nationals
My family is comprised of many athletes, from runners to wrestlers to Martial Artists. Please help me, help my brother Joseph, My nephew Ahnjaiyes, and my nieces Anaya and Aziah fulfill their dream.
Its always amazing when a person can proudly say my family member has qualified with all of their hard work and dedication to compete at the national level for any event. That was the case for us last year when my Niece Aziah Santizo qualified to compete at the 2014 USA National Karate Championships and Team Trials. My Niece and her Mom managed in large part thanks to another parent who provided them with a nice donation to ensure Aziah could attend and compete. Needless to say, she won. At the young age of 9 Aziah Santizo took gold and came back home to New York a National Karate Champion. As seen below in the two quick snapshots of her at her finest.

NOW, Just take a moment to imagine our surprise this year at the qualifiers when not one, not two, not three but four of our family members successfully qualified to compete at the 2015 USA Karate National Championships & Team Trials, scheduled to be held at the Broward Convention Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, July 15-19, 2015. We are beyond proud to say the least. We couldn’t believe it as it was happening, one announcement after the other:
Joseph Santizo First place in Kumite, Third Place in
Kata
Anaya Santizo First Place in Kumite, Second Place
in Kata
Ahnjaiyes Santizo Third Place in Kumite
Aziah Santizo Third Place in Kumite

Everyone was celebrating. That is until reality set in.
The reality is that funding 4 kids to compete at the national level is rather overwhelming. But with your help and the help of your friends we can all chip in and make their dream a reality. They have worked countless hours training, competing throughout, New York City and it would be an honor to tell them that their work and dedication has paid off and finances are the least of their worries. Presently the cost per competitor is valued at a little over $1,000.00 each (not including food, mementos, and gear they may want to buy while there for the week).

Normally this is where someone would ask the dojo for some support in securing the funds needed. BUT, I can proudly say that in their 2nd year operating as a Dojo, Ultimate Marital Arts and Fitness has the distinct honor of boasting that 18 of 24 competitors representing their Dojo qualified to compete at nationals this year.
Eighteen representatives from one single Martial Arts Dojo.
SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Needless-to-say all of the other families will be doing the same thing we are in devising a plan to secure funds to help their athletes attend.
So, I humbly ask that you donate anything you can to help us secure their trip to Fort Lauderdale this year. Please pass it along to your friends and encourage them to do the same. Any amount helps and it is gratefully appreciated. And please note, that any money left over from the donations received will be donated to the Dojo to help another student who may need the assistance.
