Bring John Dawes and family home

Monday, August 31st, 2015, we lost a wonderful father, husband, uncle, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, John Andrew Dawes.
June 3rd, 2015, John moved his family from Belen, New Mexico to be with him in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he was working since June of 2014. Soon after arriving, he became very ill and was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). Upon waiting for biopsy, MRI, CT scans and other test results, his health continued to decline at a fast rate. He lost his battle with this cancer as it spread from his spine and brain to his lungs.
Many of you asked “How can I help?”
We are asking for help to bring us three, our three dogs, and cat back home to New Mexico as soon as possible. Due to this unforeseen event, my mother was unable to work to be by his side as he was constantly in and out of hospitals. He lost his life at Duke Medical Center, which is 180 miles away from our current home in Wilmington. John was on short term disability from work. He was only receiving 60% of his normal wage in which this has made it very difficult to maintain bills such as medical, rent, and utilities as well as gas and food.
The donations we receive will be put toward medical bills, the moving truck, gas, food, shelter, and a plane ticket for me, Adrienne Dawes, to fly back immediately to continue my senior year at the Santa Fe Indian School, as well as other plane fares to NC for a few family members to come and help my mother move and drive back home.
