Funeral and Memorial Costs

Hi, my name is Jasmin, and I am fundraising for a very dear friend of mine to help towards funeral costs and a memorial, so that Stewart Turner can have the send of he deserves, and a memorial bench for his friends and family to sit on in the garden front he loved so much.

Stewart passed away yesterday at home, after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer; throughout his battle, he has shown bravery that I have never seen before and stayed strong even whilst in immense pain that most of us cannot imagine.

Durning covid, Stewart lifted our community and gave many people comfort and an ear to listen to, during a time that he himself was suffering. Our street will not be the same without him and the world is now darker without him in it.

His battle with cancer started over 2 years ago and he battled with courage and strength to the very end. Because of this, he deserves a funeral fitting for a hero and cherished member of our community.

The family has requested no flowers for the funeral and instead would prefer that those that can donate towards the cost of Stewarts' funeral so we can send our dear friend off in a way fitting for him.

Stewart did not have much, but he had a heart of gold, a compassionate ear, and the heart of a warrior that will live on in all our treasured memories of him. He drove as a local taxi driver for many years and was often called on personally due to his helpful nature.

For those that did not know Stewart, we kindly ask that you help to ease the burden on his family and ease there burden.
