Help Support Grace’s Fight with Cancer

Hello everyone. My name is Peter Smith and I live in Fort Kent, Maine. If you know me or see me out on my e-bike with my dog Grace, you probably have a good sense of how much she means to me and many others.

I’m sad to say that Grace has been diagnosed with a quite large, advanced tumor in her abdomen, and we don’t even really know how long we have with her currently. She is only 5. She is an American Bulldog, and she’s a sweetheart. We’re still on our way back home from Brewer as I’m posting this. We are going to keep her comfortable for as long as she can be with us, and there is a surgery she could get to try to remove it. Honestly, I was really praying the good Grace has touched everyone with could possibly be returned to her with a successful surgery. The risk is high, but she also may not have very long. I will give back what is not used in case she succumbs to this before we get a chance at surgery.

I am going to be doing a lot of homework tirelessly to work out all the details and will try to update this post as soon as possible. The surgery could cost anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 or more depending on many factors. This is probably the only chance we have to save my little girl's life. She is only 5 years old and is still very joyous and happy most of the time. She is my world. Any help would be amazing. Please. Thank you, everyone. Stay kind. And again this is a last hope effort.
