Update: I was not able to get my car back, but I am still crowdfunding to help me stay afloat with rent, food, and transportation to look for work.
Hi, I’m Sarah Jean, and I’ve been in a bad spot for some time. I was laid off from my corporate job and have been unemployed and actively looking for work for a little under a year. I have used my car to help me stay afloat doing gig work such as Instacart, Lyft, Uber, and taking day shifts around the city, but the demands of life have left me behind on a lot of bills, including my car. My car was repossessed, and now I am trying my stay afloat while I find work. I am about an hour walk from my nearest bus, but I am lucky to live in a city that has decent public transit.
It is my hope that this GoFundMe will aid in me still with housing and possibly a cheap used car.
