SJP2CA Mattapan Emergency Fund

Our boiler has konked out, and we're barely holding it together to get some heat going! It has 18 holes in the steam system and has been refurbished until it can't be refurbished any longer - the latest damage is just too great.

We have to get a new boiler, and it is going to cost $45,000. Our school (formerly St. Angela's Grammar School, built in 1935) is located in Mattapan and needs help to fund the new boiler. SJP2CA is the only Catholic school in Mattapan. We have 130 students, from ages 2 years 9 months to 11 years, and all would be so very grateful for your generosity.

Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy (SJP2CA) is a four campus regional elementary school (three in Dorchester, one in Mattapan) with an enrollment of over 1200 students. SJP2CA is the largest elementary school in Boston (public or private) and the largest accredited Catholic elementary school in the Northeast.
