SJES Transition Fund

St. James' Episcopal School is having to close at the end of May 2015 after nearly 20 years due to budget constraints.  This diverse preschool served the East Austin community by interrupting the cycle of poverty at an early age through an excellent education.  Both families and teachers must quickly find solutions to education and comparable employment.  

This fund is set up by parents to help the SJES staff during this transition.  Our immediate goal is one month's salary since non-profits do not qualify for unemployment benefits.  There will also be a parent-run fundraiser to further raise funds.
