This is the first case of its kind in the State of California. We are setting precedent for the future of our education system.

 

Our local school district’s policies are inequitable, unscientific and unconstitutional. It has been clarified in at least one CA Court that all policies that have been implemented are left up to the individual school districts, not to be enforced by the State.

 

Please note that the outcome of this case directly affects the every day lives of teachers, staff, school contracted employees, special education consultants, parents and students in our community in public & charter schools. Many of the plaintiffs have already been placed on unpaid leave, terminated or have been left with no option for school choices due to financial impact.

 

Our lawsuit could take up to one year and we need your help to fund this ground-breaking case in the State of California.
