Help David Fight Cancer

David, age 2, has recently been diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma -- a form of cancer originating in his adrenal gland and now developing within his left kidney. The tumour is 12x12cm in size and has become intertwined with his organs, leaving it inoperable. His parents, Andrew and Shelly, are with David as they have began chemotherapy treatment at the SickKids Hospital in Toronto.  

Andrew has had to temporarily take time off work in order to be present for the difficult decisions and many quick changes that have taken place over the last two weeks as things have progressed aggressively. They have 5 other children who are currently at home with grandparents 2 hours away. 

They have also been in contact with naturopathic doctors who specialize in cancer to learn how to support David with diet and lifestyle changes. The cost of these changes, constant traveling and staying in hotels, along with regular bills for their family of 8, is where you can come in. Contributions of any size will be greatly appreciated by the entire family. 

Lastly, as a Christian family, prayer is also very appreciated. They are leaning heavily on the Lord for strength, wisdom, peace, and healing for David, and trust Him with the situation. Specifically, they are praying that the cancer in the main artery of his kidney will die first, as it is causing thrombosis and raising his blood pressure to the point of needing to be on blood thinners. They are also requesting prayer for the stomach pain David is experiencing, wisdom and guidance for the parents, and comfort for the other 5 children as they navigate this difficult and confusing time without their parents present.
