Hi! My name is Skye and im a disabled teen currently based in the UK. For the last few years I have been having to use a wheelchair to manage my symptoms and having access to one has changed my life for the better. Problem is, my current wheelchair is broken and not built for my needs. As of my disability getting worse I am now a full time wheelchair user and need a chair that can allow me to get out and continue to live my life.

My goal with this gofundme is to raise the money needed to get a fully custom active wheelchair that is built for my needs. The chair that I'm trying to get is a Ki mobility rouge 2 (the tan wheechair in the cover of the fundraiser is an example of this chair) as it offers everything I need to be able to get around comfortably without as much pain or fatigue: e.g, natural fit pushrims to prevent dislocations and a rigid back rest to help support me.

Now I am in college this is more important than ever to get a chair that will allow me to do what I need to succeed. My wheelchair is a part of me and is how I get around so having one that is made for me will make a world of difference.
