When Kylie (Coffield) Miller,22, noticed blood in her stool and some tumors hanging out of her rectum (making it hard to have a bowel movement) in July 2015, she and her family was very concerned. Kylie was very scared because she has no insurance. Kylie and her then opted for a colonoscopy, which examines the entire colon and is very thorough.
When Kylie woke up from the colonoscopy, the doctor and her husband were standing over her. Her gastoenterologist told her he found a cancerous growth in the rectum that needed to be surgically removed. She was very shocked that this was happening to her. A CT scan two days later suggested that the cancer has not yet spread to the lymph node. Kylie schecduled appointments with a local oncologist and surgeon for the following week.
The surgeon told Kylie that she would need several weeks of chemotherapy and radiation to shrink the tumors before she could have surgery. Kylie has not been able to get all of her chemotherapy treatments in the past six weeks due to minimal funds.
Kylie is a mother of two children. (Keaton, 4 and Kenzlee 2). She is also a wife to Kyle Miller. Kyle and Kylie have used all their extra money for the chemotherapy treatments she can get. The doctor wants to put a port in for her to get chemo (which is more aggressive) this way. Kylie and her immediate family are asking for help from family and friends, so she can have the port put in and surgery to remove the cancer and tumors.
I am Kylie's mother (Trisha Miller) and I am doing a campaign for my daughter to pay for medical bills, so she can have these procedures done. I thank you all for your support. Kylie is a very strong woman and I know with everyones support she can fight this and become 100% cancer free.
Thank you all and God Bless!!!
