I need your help to complete the next phase of the Sixties Survivors project. I have now tracked down and documented the lives of over 50 individuals who were first photographed and profiled by LOOK Magazine during the pivotal decade of the 1960s. For almost every story there are scores of contact sheets – hundreds of photographs, that didn’t make it into the published magazine. Those photos will be a rich source for the documentary video that will be produced, and I need to digitize those contact sheets to beginning video editing. DC is not cheap. I need your help to pay for my flight, hotel and per diem. I’m also planning to interview and document up to ten additional individuals profiled in LOOK who are now on the east coast. I'm leaving for Washington on November 1st because the National Gallery of Art is including my photograph of Nettie Featherston in their upcoming exhibit of Dorothea Lange's photographs. Please donate now so that I can stay in DC and make significant progress on Sixties Survivors. Thank you.
