On Friday July 16th, one of my best friends six year old son, Ben, was burned pretty severely. This terrible accident has left him with about 60% of his body covered in 3rd degree burns. Ben was flown to Shriners Children's Hospital and is currently in the ICU. His mother, Lila, her 14yr old son and her 2 month old daughter drove down to be with him. During this time they're expecting Ben to be in the hospital for 2 to 3 months and to be undergoing a few surgeries as well. It's going to be a long and rough next few months. If you know Ben you know he's not your average 6yr old. He truly is like a little man in a child's body. ❤️ So smart, independent, strong and hardworking.

I have been asked a few times about ways to support Lila, Ben and their family in this time so I created this for them all.
