Join us as we kick off "Sit Up For Smiles", a challenge throughout the month of October benefiting The Arnold Family and their delightful daughter, Hannah!

The Arnold Family live in Milton, Ontario, and consists of Luc and his wife Maria, and their 3 kids Emily (10), Hannah (7), and Samuel (4).

Hannah is a very happy little girl with a rare degenerative disease called WDR45- BPAN. This condition has left Hannah with frequent seizures.  She is unable to sit up on her own, speak, or function independently and has to work extra hard to do simple day-to-day activities. 

Hannah is not defined by her disease! Hannah is a fun-loving soul who brings absolute joy to all who meet her.  She loves her family, enjoys books (especially Eric Carle stories), loves watching her favorite TV shows (Yo Gabba Gabba, Maisy Mouse & anything Disney!).  She especially loves splashing in the water and eating Pirogis!

The Goal?  = $12,000 CAD for a New Postural Chair for Hannah

Currently, the Arnold Family is finding it difficult to manage Hannah's daily needs.  Our hope is to provide funding for them to purchase a Postural Chair,  keeping her on the main level of their home, where the family spends most of their time.  This will not only ease the heavy load of caring for her in an isolated space but most importantly, allow Hannah to feel the closeness of her family for longer periods of time throughout the day.
