Site-42 Films “The Showroom” SCP-3008 Theatre Show

Donation protected
In February and March of 2023, Last Call Theatre (producer of 2022’s SCP: Signals) is premiering The Showroom, a second SCP live-action interactive theatre show taking place in SCP-3008: A Perfectly Normal IKEA. One of the SCP-3008-2s has learned to appear human, and the show is a murder mystery.

TL;DR: It’s Among Us in the Infinite IKEA.

For SCP Fans in Los Angeles, tickets are available now and you should go see this show for your own benefit and to support Last Call Theatre.

However, for the many of us who do not live in LA, the team at Site-42 once again wants to travel to and film this show for the worldwide SCP Community to experience.

Last time we did this for SCP: Signals, it was a last minute effort. Dr. Sherman was contacted the week before and barely managed to get down there and film it, and we were also quite lucky that friend of the channel Dr. Jay Adleby managed to get down there to film a second showing that gave us perspective into how different events unfolded due to different choices.

This time, we have time to plan, and we’re going in bigger and more organized. The SCP-3008 Away Team will be comprised of Dr. Theron Sherman (Site-42), Dr. Jay Adleby (EmotionalEntropy), and Dr. Todd King (Toadking Studios). All three will Livestream the show on our respective TikTok accounts, and you will be able to join the show as part of our Containment Hazard Assessment Team (C.H.A.T.) and help us solve the mystery of The Showroom. You’ll get three different perspectives of the evening’s show to piece together what you saw in one stream versus what you saw in the others, all of which will be uploaded to the Site-42 YouTube Channel in full stream and episodic cuts.

The goal of this GoFundMe includes hotel, flights, day rates for the team, and taxes and fees. Funding in excess of the goal will be split between the Site-42 Discretionary Fund (funding for future projects), and a donation to Last Call Theatre to aid in their future productions. The world might not be able to buy tickets to this show, but we can still support artists like this in making future SCP productions.

Thank you in advance for your help in this cause.

Secure. Contain. Protect.
