Sister-Sister Kidney Transplant

You know in the movies when two people are on gurneys right next to each other and holding hands? Well, this will be my sister and I come APRIL! I have been approved as a PERFECT MATCH to donate my kidney to my sister, who has been suffering from Kidney Disease for many years and is on dialysis almost daily. We are truly blessed and feel a sense of tranquility with this opportunity we have been given! 

I have started a GoFundMe for all involved. This includes myself (the donor), my sister Felicia (the recipient), and our caregivers, who are taking off of work for an extended period of time for us. We all know that with any surgery there are out of pocket expenses, but with a surgery of this magnitude, the recovery time for the recipient will be three months! I will be there for a couple of months. Therefore, all involved will be out of work for an extended time and money will be tight with all the expenses.
