Sister's recovery from a violent attack

Hello Everyone,

It's with a heavy heart that I create this GoFundMe asking for help. On Saturday 9/16 my younger sister was brutally attacked in downtown Seattle after attending a Mariners game. Thankfully multiple people had witnessed the attack, stepped in to help and called 911. When the ambulance arrived, she was unconscious and bleeding out. They rushed her to Harborview Medical Center where she was hospitalized with extensive injuries primarily to her head and face. She suffered a severe concussion, several lacerations on her forehead, eyebrow, and back of her head.

Her eyes were seriously damaged by the blunt force trauma which caused bleeding in the front and back of her left eye leaving her legally blind. She was extremely lucky to have survived the attack, but she will have a very long, hard recovery ahead of her. Due to the extent of her injuries, she will not be able to see, drive and will have difficulties with daily tasks for several months.

We are asking for help with medical bills, assistance with rent, food, childcare, and basic transportation to doctors’ appointments until she can get back on her feet.
