My name is Wayne and I am one of the Grandchildren based in the UK.

Evadine Myers commonly known as Sister Myers is 91 years old and lives alone in Black River Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa has destroyed her home by ripping off over half the roof. All the items in the home, clothes, kitchen items, furniture are ruined from the flood.

Despite this, Sister Myers is doing her Christian duty by looking after and housing a family in a worse predicament than her.

We are setting up this GoFundMe page as family, friends and work colleagues have seen the news and heard what she is doing and want to directly assist her in any way possible.

The money raised will go directly to;

Roof restoration and other home repairs

Clothing and bedding

Food, clean water

Medicine

Help others in the community

Thank you so much for your heartfelt words and support during this time.
