Sister Mary Jones Funeral Fund

Donation protected
Hello my name is Kenya and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my family for my dearly beloved Grandmother Mary Jones. She recently passed away on September 11th leaving her loved ones heartbroken but also forever grateful for the beautiful 90 years she got to grace us all with her presence. She loved JESUS with her whole heart and lived her life for Him daily. She instilled the beauty of Christ in our lives and those she came in contact with and we are eternally grateful for that.

Unfortunately she did not have a life insurance policy and as we are mourning the loss of our precious Grandmother/Mother we are hit with the unfortunate reality that this is an extremely costly expense. We would love to be able to lay our dearly missed and loved Sister Mary Jones to rest. Please family and friends whatever you can contribute would be extremely helpful, every donation counts. Thank you all for the continued prayers for strength, peace, and comfort during this difficult time.

For those who had the honor and privilege of knowing my Grandmother, you know how kind, sweet and caring she was. She was a wonderful light in this dark world, she brought the sunshine to everyones lives. She surely brought joy, love and laughter all mixed together with her special ingredient extra JESUS.

Everything was normal, until she started to feel unwell. She started to forget things constantly and stopped eating. We were concerned, so we rushed her to the emergency room. The ER allowed me to stay with my Grandmother until they admitted her because she was panicking over her fear of hospitals. I stayed right alongside her, reassuring her and keeping her calm. Once she was admitted no one was allowed to visit her except through an impersonal iPad. She stayed there for six days and was then released by the hospital to come home. While at home, my mom, older sister Dee and I nurtured and cared for her to the best of our abilities. That lasted for only three days. Her health quickly began to decline again so we called 911. They rushed her back to the hospital and to the ICU where they allowed us to visit our loved one through a glass until they felt that she was not going to get better and allowed us to go beyond the glass to be with her and pray with her. I am grateful for those special moments because she could not really speak but she mustered up the strength to tell us that she loved us and let us see that beautiful smile that we have come to miss so much. Grandmother you managed to stay strong and stay in Faith all the way until you took your precious last breath and went to meet our creator. There is not a day that goes by that we will not think about you or the countless amount of times you allowed us to care for you and make you laugh.

We thank you all in advance for your kindheartedness. Please share this story to your social media and help our family in securing a final resting place for our beloved Matriarch.
