Sister Liz Hale Had a Stoke and Needs Your Help.

Donation protected
Hello,

On December 13th sister Liz Hale was diagnosed with COVID and felt in her words "The worst pain she had ever experienced" in her throat. The next morning, December 14th, she suffered a stroke and was transported to the hospital. At the time of admission, they believed it was a TIA or min-stoke. Three days later however the stroke intensified in the same region of her brain and left her much more incapacitated.

She spent two weeks in the hospital before being stable enough to get transferred to a local rehab. She is taking physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. She is still compromised in speech a bit and unable to move her left arm or leg. Under the care of the facility, we pray that she will once again have full use of her extremities.

She is no longer able to work, and a time is coming that her medical expenses will be much more than she can cover. She is a proud woman that raised two boys on her own, is a veteran, a Deaconess of more than 20 years at her church and served as a nurse for more than 35 years. When COVID hit she and nurses like her were on the frontline for us all. She really has never asked anyone for anything. She is now asking for the support of the community that she has spent a lifetime trying to help heal. Anything will be appreciated at this time. She of course asks that whatever is done, let it be done in love.
