Sissy’s Treatment
Donation protected
Hard to believe but Sissy’s last scan showed her cancer has spread throughout various parts of her body. The doctor told us she is no longer curable and now we just need to manage her pain and the cancer. The good news is that Sissy feels fine and is only dealing with the spinal pain from the original tumor surgery in June of 2019. We have no timeline from the doctors and ultimately we believe God has the final say.
The original tumor that was removed in the first big surgery, in June of 2019, was tested against a trial drug and is responding well. Sissy is scheduled to start that trial drug next week. Her doctor was hopeful and mentioned that she has seen people live for decades and then sometimes just a few short months. We don’t know how fast the cancer is growing and don’t really have any answers.
In our search for answers, we have found a place in Mexico that has a program to optimize her body’s healing. Of course, it’s not cheap ($12,000) but we have to try everything at this point. If you’re interested in reading about it, see the link here...

There are no adequate words to thank you for sharing this journey with us in whatever way you have already participated! There is no question that Sissy couldn’t have come this far without you! From the depths of my heart, thank you! You truly have restored our faith in humanity. If you are able to donate, please help us get Sissy to treatment!
