On the morning of March 29, 2015 the house of Joe and Phyllis Sisson, my grandparents, caught on fire. My grandpa built the house over 35 years ago. The second story is practically gone now. They lost their master bedroom (including all their clothes and Grandma's wedding dress). What remains of the house has smoke/water damage and will have to be taken down.
Grandpa and Grandma Sisson have been farmers in the community most of their lives. They have been among the first to help when others needed help. This frequently meant dropping what they were doing to help those in need. Now they are the ones in need. Please help if you can.
There is also a fund at The Bank of Richmondville for anyone local or anyone that wants to mail in a donation. 100% of the bank fund goes to Joe and Phyllis.
