Hello my name is Maricruz Perez and I am a Senior at Alisal High School. I'm mexican and i'm 17 years old. Since I was 8  I had to watch after my little brother because my mom  had to work to provide for us.We are 4 siblings. Two are already married. When I started High school I thought I was not gonna make it, since Salinas (the city where I live) is full of gang members. I overcame everything that was thrown at me. All my teachers helped me and i was able to overcome these obstacles. Now I am a senior and my major goall is to go to college but my family is not really economically stable. My mom is the only one willing to support me, I don't talk to my dad at all.  I'm asking you all for a big favor: to help me go to college. PLEASE HELP ME AND DONATE.
