Sis. Terry Alaniz

Hello my name is Tony Melena, and I am raising funds for a very worthy cause...

Sis. Terry Alaniz was a woman that is hard to describe, because she was such a VERY VERY GREAT BLESSING.

She was a huge blessing to me and a huge blessing to her family and a HUGE blessing to her church family. She lived her life for God, with all of her heart, mind, soul, and strength. She raised her three grandchildren: Patience (12), Syncere (11), and Tony Levi (9). She provided much support to her family. She was always faithful.

Suddenly, about a year and a half ago, Sis. Terry was diagnosed with widespread cancer. She began to go through hard, debilitating, and painful treatments and the cancer was eradicated. Howbeit, she had to continue the treatments to prevent any cancer from returning. It was very hard for her. Many times, she was very weak and feeling very sick, in her body, yet she had a smile and a upbeat and positive spirit and attitude. She would still continue to give all of her love to her family and church family. She continued to go on Saturday community outreach to invite at-risk families and children to church services, as she had done for years, bringing her granddaughters. She would never complain. I would have to ask her how she was doing, and only then she would open up about what she was going through, in her body. In one look, I could see her, when she was going through it, yet she did not ever miss a beat. She was so faithful!

About two weeks ago, Sis. Terry's immune system was challenged by her ongoing treatments, and she contacted coronavirus. On September 1, Sis. Terry finished the race and went on to be with the Lord Jesus. She battled her trials and challenges of life with such love, dignity, courage, and faith. Now, we are at a great loss for Sis. Terry, yet we know that she was totally ready to receive her rest, comfort and reward from God.

Today, there are expenses and things that Sis. Terry's surviving family need help with: 1. The Funeral Expenses and for 2. the Living Expenses for the grandchildren that she was caring for, when she passed. Anything that you could give would be a great blessing. She was a true example of a virtuous woman. Please continue to keep the Sis. Terry Alaniz family in your prayers. Thank you and may God bless and keep you in His peace.
