Will you please help me? My name is Sirius and I am 2 years old but have a really bad wound from a horrific attack by 2 Jack Russels.My mom had a heart attack in January and she asked the teen next door to walk me every day as Mom recovers. While on my walk on my leash, 2 dogs across the street ran out of their garage as the owner was pulling in. They were in pack attack mode and easily got across the street from us. My walker grabbed me up but the dogs were so frightening he ended up dropping me in the direction of my house. I tried to run the block to my house but both dogs were biting me and they were larger and stronger than I was. The barking was so loud and disturbing that people ran from their homes to see what was going on. My mom got out too and ran to try to get to me but the dogs had me surrounded and biting me. Neighbors and the owner were able to get the dogs to finally get away. We were all in shock and thanks to a kind neighbor my mom and I got to an emergency vet 24-hour hospital. The team at the hospital took over 6 hours to access and develop an initial treatment. I had to visit the emergency vet hospital for several days and nights. This was over a month ago and I now go to my regular vet including Sundays when a vet team makes a special trip.

The doctors have done amazing work and used treatments that are helping me improve. As her heart attack has kept my mom from work so she can stay home with me. She is asking for financial help of $10,000.00 to help pay my bills. My mom understands pets are family and have taken care of her pets with wellness plans but these bills are not included. I have not finished my treatment but I know my mom needs help. We hope no one ever has to go through this type of situation and are grateful for any help you can give.
