ITA - ENG Ciao a tutti .. mi chiamo Sirio Talmon … qualcuno di voi mi conosce già per via della mia malattia rara che mi ha colpito nel dicembre 2022 .. questa malattia si chiama sindrome di Guillain - Barrè , ed è una neuropatia che colpisce appunto il sistema nervoso .. rendendoti , come nel mio caso tetraplegico.. per 10 giorni dopo essere appunto stato colpito dalla malattia a causa di una contaminazione batterica, mi sono ritrovato in ospedale senza sapere se mai sarei riuscito a riprendere il controllo della mia vita .. contro ogni previsione , e dopo tanto dolore e sofferenza ( fisica e psicologica) e tantissimo sport ed attività fisica.. ho deciso di attraversare tutti gli Stati Uniti d’America in bici .. la traversata si è svolta nei mesi di settembre ed ottobre 2025 .. durante il viaggio ho portato ogni giorno la mia storia nei posti più sperduti a volte degli usa .. oltre a pedalare durante le giornate mi sono impegnato a trovare almeno 3 persone diverse con la quale mandare consapevolezza sul fatto che tutto può cambiare in un momento nella vita .. informando loro sul perché questa malattia mi ha colpito e quindi rendere loro più facile in caso di malesseri strani .. individuarne le cause .. spiegando i sintomi .. le tempistiche .. i modi .. e come eventuale approcciarsi ai medici .. e tutto il necessario per non perdere tempo prezioso nelle corsie d’ospedale e del pronto soccorso.. ( come nel mio caso ) il viaggio è stato carico di significati.. per me .. mia moglie Cristina .. e per tutte le persone che hanno deciso di ascoltare le mie parole .. il loro ringraziamento è stata la cosa più bella per me .. perché nei loro occhi ho potuto vedere la attenzione su questa tematica .. le malattie rare sono troppo spesso sottovalutate.. e per questo dopo il mio trascorso ho deciso di intraprendere questo nuovo cammino portando consapevolezza nei paesi.. nelle piazze .. nelle scuole e in tutti quei luoghi la quale qualcuno dovesse o volesse sentire l’esigenza di queste cose .. ora sono solo all’inizio .. il primo step è stato fatto appunto con la traversata degli usa .. da ora in poi il mio impegno sarà quello di divulgare ad un più ampio numero di persone la consapevolezza ..vi terrò aggiornati man a mano che le varie iniziative avranno luogo … mi trovate su Instagram come @sirio_talmon .. la potrete trovare tutta la mia storia e tutte le cose fatte fin ora per divulgare un messaggio di speranza e consapevolezza .. in giro per il mondo

 Hello everyone.. my name is Sirio Talmon... some of you already know me because of my rare disease that struck me in December 2022.. this disease is called Guillain-Barré syndrome, and it is a neuropathy that affects the nervous system.. making you, as in my case, tetraplegic.. for 10 days after being struck by the disease due to a bacterial contamination, I found myself in hospital without knowing if I would ever be able to regain control of my life.. against all odds, and after so much pain and suffering (physical and psychological) and a lot of sport and physical activity.. I decided to cross the entire United States of America by bike.. the crossing took place in the months of September and October 2025.. during the trip I brought my story every day to the most remote places in the USA.. in addition to cycling during the days I committed to finding at least 3 different people with whom to send awareness of the fact that everything can change in a moment in the life .. informing them about why this disease struck me and therefore making it easier for them in case of strange ailments .. identify the causes .. explaining the symptoms .. the timing .. the methods .. and how to possibly approach the doctors .. and everything necessary to not waste precious time in the hospital corridors and emergency rooms .. ( as in my case ) the journey was full of meaning .. for me .. my wife Cristina .. and for all the people who decided to listen to my words .. their thanks were the most beautiful thing for me .. because in their eyes I could see the attention on this issue .. rare diseases are too often underestimated .. and for this reason after my past I decided to undertake this new path bringing awareness in the countries .. in the squares .. in schools and in all those places where someone should or wanted to feel the need for these things .. now I am only at the beginning .. the first step was taken precisely with the crossing of the USA .. From now on my commitment will be to spread awareness to a larger number of people...
