Oh hi there! My name is Sir Finn and I was born on 05/28/2017. I live in sunny San Diego with my amazing pawrents, who just got engaged in April!

We are so excited but recently got some surprising news.

I was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma. It is a cancer that is extremely rare in puppies my age, the average being 10 years old. If steps aren't taken towards treatment, I could only have about 3 months to live.

My tumor is near my right, front limb. With the recent tests (blood work, CT scans, biopsy, etc.)  and the vet visits, the bills have been racking up (nearing $4,000!)

Recently, my surgeon told us some uplifting news. I am a candidate for surgery! Since the placement of the mass is not impeding the surrounding bone(s)/muscle(s), the surgeon will be able to get 95% out, with the rest of it being removed by radiation treatments (roughly costing $10,000). I may know or have met some of you, we may follow each other on Instagram, or you just know and love my pawrents. Regardless, whatever you can give helps my pawrents get that much closer to helping me get better. Then I can continue eating green beans, playing fetch, going on morning walks with my mama, and taking the best naps with dad!

Thank you so much, you don't understand how much your love and support means. I luv you all!

Finn Fam Update 05/31/2018: After multiple opinions, visits, and conversations, Sir Finn's surgery is set for Monday, June 4th! The trickiest of this uphill battle is upon our little guy, post-surgey, with recovery and followed with radiation treatments. This is in hopes of kicking cancer's butt 100% out of Sir Finn's life, for good. Thus far, this journey has been a strenuous one, yet the outpour of prayers, positivity, support, and the generousity in your donations, have been beyond heartwarming. We need your support in every way still to continue this fight for Sir Finn! If making a donation is not an option for you, THAT IS OKAY! Please spread this GoFundMe or Sir Finn's Instagram page (@sir.finn.corgi) to at least FIVE friends. Any and every amount counts and in the end, spreading the word is how this is all made possible. Thank you for your time, and let's help this cutie pup to continue living the best life! -One of Finn's many Aunties

Finn Fam Update 06/06/2018: Finn's surgery went great on Monday! The surgeon was happy how well it went and was even able to remove 100% of the tumor! We are now waiting for test results to see how many remaining microscopic cancer cells there are. In a about a week and a half Finny's pawrents will meet with the surgeon and oncologist to go over radiation treatment plans. Until then we look forward to getting those tests results and of course, Tuesday, when he gets his large bandage removed!

Even though the cast, bandage, and cone are making it tough to move around and get comfy, Finn is giving us his sweet smile. Please continue donating (if you haven't already), sharing, and praying for our little guy. He may be cute and smiley, but he is one tough guy! Let's kick cancer's butt Finny!

Finn Fam Update 06/13/2018:  I got my cast removed yesterday!  I’m happy as can be!  My scar startled my pawrents at first but then they reminded me how strong I am and how much more pawsome it makes me!

My radiation starts

Finn Fam Update 06/20/2018: First day of radiation was a long day but it went....GREAT! Got my sutures out and I was a really good boy for my mommy. When she got me from radiation I was wide awake and fully aware. The nice hoomans at the office said I did really well! I ate yummy chicken and rice after. So good! I have about four weeks of days like this ahead of me. A huge thanks to each and every one of you for all of your prayers, shares, donations, and more! My pawrents, family, friends, and of course myself are ever so grateful! We are (as of now!) only $200 away from our goal thanks to ALL OF YOU! Keep the positive vibes and shares going to not only help me reach my goal, but also spread awareness of this awful cancer I am powerfully fighting off. WOOF! Love to you all, thanks again!

Finn Fam Update 06/30/2018
: First full week of radiation...DONE! I am doing really well and my pawrents are SO proud of me. My mommy takes me in everyday and we have the best car rides ever. When I wake up and am reunited with her I am so energetic and excited.

The other day I noticed and became more aware of where my radiation is being done, so my mommy got me a shirt to wear to take my mind off of it. It's really comfy! When daddy comes home from work we cuddle and then cuddle some more. I am getting so much love!

Thanks for all the continued positivity, prayers, and support. Now I am gonna go snuggle and rest till Monday, my next radiation appointment.
