Sipho’s Road to Innovation

I'm fundraising for Sipho, my close friend who has been accepted into a university. He keeps fighting, even though it has been 3 years since we graduated from high school. I share his dream, that he will go to university and have a huge impact on the world someday. Please read the description he has written:

"Hello friends, my name is Sipho Chakhala, I am a young African with aspirations. I am on GoFundMe to raise funds to help with my university education towards a computer science degree. The money I will get from this degree will cover the first year of my three-year university degree. This is including tuition, accommodation and even travel. My parents struggled very much to put me through the mid to latter half of high school. Seeing their struggle for my success further pushed me to take more responsibility to further my own skills and find my own solutions to problems. This GoFundMe being a solution to my current financial problem. My need to progress further pushed my skills forward. During my high school years, I made mobile apps for different purposes, made different websites for free for different people and businesses, taught many free classes on coding and more. Post-high school I have completed different certification programmes in the IT field to further add to my abilities, and had an internship for a start-up making an app for streaming African music.

Attainment of this degree is currently the biggest step in order for me to reach my overall goals in life. This degree will push me towards opportunities in my professional life that will allow me to help my different African communities both on a national level, and hopefully even on a continental level one day.
