In short, our friend Sinnon Fletcher lost her house yesterday in a fire. From what she says, they lost everything.
Sinnon has been a friend and part of many communities here for many years. I met her at Hendrix, maybe you know her from the Little Rock art/music scene of the 90s, others have kids who are friends with her son Kagan. Maybe you worked with her as a teacher in our public schools. Me, I've spent a lot of time housesitting/dog sitting in that house that burned.
However you know her--our friend needs our help. Let's pitch in some to help her get back on her feet. If you can do it TODAY, that'd be most helpful.
