Our heartfelt thanks to all of our family, friends and my dad's friends who have shown love and support like we have never seen before. As many of you know, my dad has impacted many lives with his generosity, free spirit, huge heart, and of course his humor. My dad was very fortunate to be able to live his life everyday to the fullest always giving to others, never expected anything in return. Dad being dad and the free spirited man he was, he lived for today, never planned for tomorrow. Unfortunately, due to legal matters with my dad's estate, it's put our family in a financial crisis.
My wife has been sick for almost a year with an autoimmune disease and nerve disorder. With having a few surgeries and possibly another, she has been unable to work after 15 years at the same dental practice. This has been devastating financially, emotionally, and physically to us all.
I have also had my own health issues. After sustaining an injury at work, I needed knee surgery. It was during that surgery, that they found an abnormal EKG. After months of testing, I was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. In April, during a test, in the hospital I went into cardiac arrest and needed to be revived. It was after that I had my defibrillator implanted which led to an infection and readmitted to the hospital. Last month I actually had to have another knee surgery from the injury that occured at work.
I was lucky enough to to call my dad my best friend and hero for 41 years. I have always been very proud of my dad and looked up to the good man that he was inside and out. He struggled for many years with his health and was the strongest person that I've known and admired the most. I can only hope that he is proud looking down on me.
Your help in this profound situation is greatly appreciated.
Please open your hearts and donate to help us honor my dad and family. Prayers and positive thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Much love always,
The Sinkler Family
