Sing (to me) - Short Film

I invite you to support my new short film, Sing (to me), which tells the story about a man, named Charlie, who struggles with his condition of singing every time he speaks. He finds hope, though, in two women: Rae, who has the same condition as him, and Alyssa, his longtime best friend.

As someone who grew up with a brother who has Down syndrome, I've always been passionate about giving a platform to the differently-abled community. One of my goals as a filmmaker is to tell stories that shed a spotlight not only on their experiences, but also society's unfortunate ostracism of these individuals and the mental health problems that occur as a result.

While there's been a gradual and incredible movement towards representation for people of color, women and the LGBTQ+ community in-front of and behind-the-camera, the amount of differently-abled stories in film are terribly scarce. With this screenplay, I believe that this film can serve as a step forward in ending the under-representation of this community in cinema. Their stories matter!

But, just like any film project of this ambition, it's simply not possible without your support. All the money donated will go towards the entire production of this film, which includes crew, cast, equipment, locations, food/drinks and more. Any amount helps!
