Single SEN mum battling cancer for the 2nd time

Hello, I'm a single mum who has been diagnosed for the second time with non hodgkins lymphoma. I battled it in 2021 and reached remission in October 2021 after major surgery and intense chemo.

In december 2023 I relapsed and was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma, which than was put on watch & wait as i wanted to have a pain free christmas with my children.

at end of february i was sent for a pet scan in oxford as pain had started to come back which than showed that in the space of 3 weeks my lymphnodes had drastically grown and another biopsy was needed which i than week later was re diagnosed for the second time with non hodgkins lymphoma hi grade.

I am having to go through chemo again but this time more aggressive and time consuming.

i will have to have a stem cell transplant harvesting my own cells which means long stays in hospital in oxford.

I have 2 amazing children, one whom is special needs diagnosed with autism, fragile X, ADHD, GGD, sensory processing disorder and verbally delayed.

The council have refused a disability social worker and respite care for him to support me as I go through treatment.

This process is extremely disruptive to him and he requires 121 support which I cannot provide whilst ill.

both my children deserve some support and to get trough this journey with minimal disruption in their small lifes yet the system are failing us again.

I need to hire a private carer to help support myself and my children as the council are not providing support despite there being a severe need and applications made asking for support. My family unfortunately live too far to be able to support me during this time.

An hour of private care is at least £20ph and I will need help/support in the mornings and after school with the children and house.

also i need to find care for them while i will be admitted in oxford.
