From the Streets to Giving Back—Help Us Provide Warmth
Two years ago, my life changed in an instant. After an unlawful eviction, my special needs son, our two dogs, and I found ourselves living on the streets next to a San Jose freeway intersection. For 87 days, the wet soil was our bed.
I want to start by saying thank you again to every single person who helped us two years ago. Whether you dropped off a bottle of water, a blanket, or donated to the GoFundMe that raised $16,542—you saved us. Because of your incredible kindness, I was able to get back on my feet, and today I am proud to be a business owner running my own handyman and repair service.
But I haven't forgotten what those cold nights feel like.
With temperatures dropping across the San Jose and Santa Clara area, I can’t sit by knowing families are out there in the same spot I once was. I want to use my new business as a way to pay back the kindness I was shown.
How You Can Help:
• Donate Funds: 100% of money raised will go toward purchasing high-quality, heavy-duty thermal blankets.
• Donate Blankets: If you have a new or gently used (clean) blanket to spare, please drop it off at my new office: Drop-Off Location: 2270 Canoas Garden Ave, Unit A, San Jose

I was once the person receiving the blanket. Now, thanks to the second chance this community gave me, I want to be the one delivering them. Let’s make sure no one has to shiver through the night alone.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping me keep our neighbors warm
