Hi my name is Miguel , a single parent of a special needs child. My landlord who also was my former employer ask me to build a small house on the back of her property ,she told me that i could live there and that i don't have to worry about paying rent anymore. I was so happy that I accepted her offer.

So a build a nice tiny house on the back of her house. I invested all my savings to buy the materials to build the little house . At soon as I was done with the project, she ask me to leave, and file an eviction, and a restraining order and sheatold me that i dont have a job anymore , also she send someone to kill my service dog , and now I'm homeless and without a job. Ibe been 50 days on the street with no job, no roof for my son , and no money to rent a place, I'm asking for your help, i need to find where to live so I can start looking for a new job. It is very hard to be in this situation , not only that but today cal-trans posted a new notice for encampment removal so I have to move from here in 2 more days . I'm not sure what im going to do , the city of San Jose told me that they can't offered housing because I have animals . They told me if I didn't have animals it will be easier to get housing. I rather be on the street than get rid of my animals they are my family . I'm asking to please support me if you can.

One last thing if you can please be so kind and help me with a signature for this petition I have for the San jose mayor to consider my case and help me to get housing faster
