Hello, my name is Jeff Sherrill and I am Jena Gaddis's fiancé. We have been living together under the same roof in a relationship for the past 10 years and were soon to get married this fall. On July 23rd, Jena was on her way home from her job as a bakery manager locally when she had reached about 2 miles away from home. A semi-truck failed to stop before entering the highway only 633 feet in front of Jena. When the truck pulled out, it created a large dust cloud that made it impossible to see the semi. This caused Jena to have no time to hit the brakes before she collided with the back of the semi-trailer, going roughly 55-60 mph and having only traveled half of a car's length before coming to a complete stop. The car she was in is completely totaled, and Jena is currently in the hospital for a long list of injuries, thankfully alive.

The cops ticketed the semi driver for failure to yield to oncoming traffic and he is 100% at fault for all the damage he has caused. We are in need of funds to accumulate the needed funds for a retainer to obtain a lawyer to represent her to cover all the costs of hospital bills as well as other subjects such as pain and suffering, loss of wages, depression, etc. She deserves this after not being able to make it back home safe to her son and family, who have been in the hospital with her since the day she was admitted and continue to be there as she undergoes major surgeries for life-threatening problems.

We are needing roughly $5,000.00 to have the ability to obtain a good lawyer to represent her so she gets everything she is entitled to for all of the pain and problems she has following this event.

The retainer is to ensure we have a lawyer that is going to put in the work by having all the necessary evidence and facts out together to properly get Jena the funds she deserves and the hospital bills paid off .
