Jenifer Hohnbaum has been silently struggling with a serious brain injury since 1997 after a near fatal car accident leaving her with permanent damage and multiple surgeries to survive. The doctors predicted a bleak future for Jen with constant cognitive struggles and little ability to function independently ever.
She fought the odds and defied those doctors, always fighting but keeping her deep struggles private. Then a series of different events occurred sending her body into crisis mode, on top of the declining nature of the TBI impacting her ability to function normally she has become incapacitated. Now Living with a myriad of symptoms and struggling moment to moment we are all desperate to find her some relief. Current medical advances now provide amazing brain therapies and comprehensive recovery programs. Jen has an awesome medical team working hard to solve all these issues.
The costs of the testing and treatments are unaffordable to Jen in her disabled state. There is nothing she wouldn’t do to feel better and get some semblance of her life back.
