Assalamulikum, My name is Sister Zahira Aziz and I am an elderly widow taking care of my son. I have been taking care of my bedridden son Haider Ali for the last two years. Haider has been on a ventilator for the past year after having remission of brain cancer. I have been changing him, visiting him every day, and trying my best to care for him. I have incurred a lot of debt and right now I am staying at a transitional home while visiting him. My debt is increasing and I have no one to support me financially other than my son, My husband died when my son was in 8th grade and I had to work to provide and raise him. Haider is 32 years old and he was diagnosed with a grade 3 Anaplastic giloma in 2020; he went through the surgery, the chemotherapy, and the radiation. Haider was getting better and only a little while after his cancer came back. Haider got a seizure then when I took him to the doctors they told me his cancer came back and surgery was not an option. The doctors did more chemotherapy and radiation. While Haider was getting treatment for the cancer, he had a seizure that paralyzed his lower body and was sent to rehab. Haider then got sick again with infections and had a 30 minute seizure episode which had him loose more of his body functions and then he lost the ability to swallow and all of his functions. Haider now is bedridden with tubes everywhere sustaining his life. The only reason I am asking for money is the debts I have are enormous and I have been borrowing money from my friends. I have attached the forms from the doctor about his case. Please find it in your heart to help me however possible.
