Single mother of five loses everything in fire
Donation protected
Tisha Harris is a single mom. She has five children. Four of whom are in college. The fifth has physical disabilities. They lived in a small home. A fire on friday has left them all homeless. It will be six to eight months before they will be able to move home. Her ex husband did not carry loss of use or content insurance on the home. She only found this out today 2 days after the fire.
Let me tell you a little bit about their family. There are five children. The oldest was in a car accident Christmas eve a few years ago and is unable to work. The other four are all in college. Three at massasoit community college and one at u mass Dartmouth.
The twins are the youngest. They are in their second year at massasoit. They have autism. Her younger son has aspergers. Three of them have part time work work hours being cut due to covid. The three of them work in retail.
She also takes in cats. Thankfully all people and pets escaped the fire with only mild injuries. We are all very grateful for this.

Tisha other business was a vendor business which many of you may know her from. she traveled all over new england in various fairs and conventions.. All but two boxes of her products
are forever gone.
Starting over will be hard. They need money to help with emergency housing while the house is repaired then to help replace so much that has been destroyed.
If you can see it in your heart to give anything she and her family will be so thankful. I will be posting pics of the damage and more about their story as the days go by.
Thank you for looking at us. Please feel free to share this.
