My name is Steven Carvelho and I have setup this GoFundMe for my cousin, Belinda Thomas, who was murdered at the age of 46 this past Saturday, February 9, 2019 in her home in West Valley City, Utah. Belinda was a wonderful mother who brought a light to everyone's life through her positive and enduring presence no matter what difficulties life threw her way. Her true love in life was her five year old son, Jaxon, who was witness to this horrendous tragedy and was the one that made the difficult call to 9-1-1. A little over a year prior, Jaxon was also witness to the passing of his father, Steve Bird, who tragically passed away due to an aneurism. Our hearts are with Jaxon as he is currently with the Division of Child and Family Services. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to provide funds to help with bringing Jaxon home to his aunt, and with any remaining funds to be put into a savings account for Jaxon. We appreciate all prayers and support as Jaxon and all of Belinda's family cope with this senseless tragedy.
