Here is her story :

I am Dureen from Gaza, I am 26 years old and I have two children. When the war came, I had recently graduated from dentistry. I had big ambitions that I really wanted to achieve. Big dreams. The war came and left nothing. It destroyed everything in our lives. We had started to establish a new house before the war. The new house was destroyed and bulldozed, and my other house was bombed and became uninhabitable. But I live in it reluctantly due to the scarcity. I have two children. The two grew up in the war without their eldest father, who became my little man, helping and assisting me. At the age of four, he did not understand anything about life except being a man. The younger one, Adam, the war came when he was a baby. Now, Adam is an aware child, but he is afraid of the sound of the bombing and missiles. The children and I cover our ears. Adam says, “A plane, Mama.” I cannot believe how a two-year-old child knew about the plane. I am in Gaza. I live with my small family in a psychological war other than the real war. We need help to live, to leave Gaza by any means. We are tired. I do not want to lose myself and my children in a mortal war. Help us.
