Single Mother Fights Business Betrayal & needs Legal Support

I am a Single Mother Small Business Owner who needs Support with Legal Fees to get my Business back from former Contractual Partners (as of one year ago) and to get justice from No Compensation. My contractual partners have 0% ownership of my business/brand but has abused control given over my company online operating accounts/assets that I am locked out of and have been denied access back to them despite many requests.

My name is Abra McField. Over the past 17 years, I’ve dedicated myself to helping women and men worldwide overcome hair loss and stalled growth through holistic, natural methods, services and products. I’ve empowered beauty professionals with my trade secret hair growth methods, building a community rooted in growth, shared success, and sustainable business. My mission has always been about transforming lives and making a positive impact in the hair industry.

My journey took a difficult turn when I discovered that my now-former contractual partners , whom I trusted and brought into my business just a year ago, had been benefiting from the company’s revenue without fulfilling their contractual obligations. Despite multiple requests—over 12 emails and 5 texts since January 29, 2024—I have been locked out of my company’s online asset accounts, including my website host account, Instagram, company emails and other accounts needed to operate my business. I exercised patience and gave them many opportunities to do what was right, but over one month ago, I discovered they made a public announcement claiming I walked away from my business, while they continue to sell products under my brand without my consent. I am seeking legal help to protect my rights, recover my assets, and maintain the integrity of my legacy.

As a single mother living abroad in Asia, this has hit me especially hard. I finalized this big move based on our contractural agreement, but now I’m off track, rebuilding my life while fighting to protect my name, my life's work and legacy. I’ve poured everything into my business and made countless sacrifices, even living in my car with my two kids just 10 years ago. I initially stayed quiet to keep the peace, but I’ve realized I can no longer do that.

Unfortunately, legal costs to pursue this are beyond what I can afford alone at this time. I have went without income for an entire year from my product side of my business (which was my main source of income). I regret that I believed in the business contractual agreement so much for way too long and should have stepped away much sooner but instead, I hung in there for 8/9 months before pulling back.

This is why I’m asking for your support. I’ve never asked for help before. I never thought I knew how but the one thing I know is that I can’t do this alone. Your donation will help me hire an attorney in New York to fight for my rights and recover my business and assests. I've consulted with three attorneys, all affirming I have a strong case worth pursuing.

This isn’t just about me — my entire ecosystem is impacted. Thousands, including my students and their families, are feeling the effects, and even my kids are affected in ways we’re pushing through every day.
