Single Mother and 3 Children Displaced by fire

Hello all!

As you may have heard, at 6:30am on February 19th, Meghan and her three young children were displaced due to a fire causing a total loss to their Upper Darby home. Not only have they lost all of their belongings, memories and home, they also lost two family pets.

In less than 24 hours, their amazing community has STEPPED up with donations of clothes, toiletries, toys and food items for which they are all so grateful. Shout out to DELCO and beyond!

This family has faced several challenges in the past few years, beginning with the tragic loss of their husband/father following a brief and sudden illness. Sadly, we cannot replace some of the valuable tokens that had belonged to Tom, but with support, they can and will rebuild again and move forward.

Presently, Meghan and the kids are staying with family members and are separated. The goal for the fundraiser is to help alleviate some of the additional expenses they will be facing and attempt to help get them a residence as soon as possible so they can return to a sense of normalcy.

Donations are greatly appreciated, as is sharing the information to get the word out.
